Topic this time is a matter of sleepiness .Maybe sleepy during school hours is the most popular among school student in Indonesia at this time .Sleepy has a lot of losses ,one of which issurely to miss lessons .One of tha sitting position could be one causes drowsiness .Due to the wrong sitting posture ,breathing becomes less than optimal ,so that the organs in the body are not fully receiving oxygen .Drowsiness is not a result of the activity due to eye ,but the brain .Drowsiness may occur because the brain receives less oxygen (O2) .

Here are some ways to overcome sleepiness :

   1. sitting upright
   2. chest leaning forward
   3. do not sit next to people that drowsy
   4. sometimes long and irregular breathing when the brain began to feel tired
   5. asked to keep the brain stay focused

If you want to know the result ,may try your self .But the most important thing is to sleep regularly and eat nutritious food .

Ujian Bikin Otak Tambah "Encer"

Kompas.com - Ujian sering menjadi momok bagi para siswa. Ujian juga dianggap sebagai cara untuk mengetahui kemajuan para siswa dalam belajar. Padahal, ujian justru bisa menjadi cara untuk meningkatkan daya ingat.

Para ahli menemukan bahwa ketika seseorang menjalani ujian otak akan mengumpulkan informasi dari sistem memori. Bahkan, otak justru lebih mudah mendata informasi yang berhasil dihimpun dibanding ketika proses belajar mengajar. Dengan kata lain, ujian justru akan meningkatkan daya ingat.

Menurut peneliti Kent State's Katherine Rawson, dalam otak kita terdapat informasi yang disebut "mediator". Mediator merupakan konsep, ide atau frase yang menghubungkan satu informasi ke informasi lain. Supaya mediator itu menjadi efektif, setiap ide dan konsep harus mudah diingat dan mudah tersambung dengan informasi yang coba diingat.

Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan Rawson, orang yang menjalani tes atau ujian memiliki daya ingat tiga kali lebih baik dalam mengingat materi pelajaran yang diberikan dibandingkan dengan orang yang tidak menjalani ujian.

"Ujian akan membuat mediator lebih mudah dipanggil dan membuat kita jadi lebih mudah mengingat," kata Mary Pyc, peneliti yang terlibat dalam studi ini. Ia mengatakan, ujian yang dilakukan di kelas sangat membantu daya ingat siswa, namun para siswa sebaiknya juga melakukan ujian sendiri di sela waktu belajarnya.

Disneyland Cina Segera Dibangun

Liputan6.com, Shanghai: The Walt Disney telah menandatangani persetujuan kerja sama dengan Shanghai Sendi Group untuk pembangunan taman bermain Disneyland di Cina. Taman bermain itu akan dibangun di atas tanah seluas 400 hektare dan diharapkan akan menjadi titik awal dari rangkaian pembenahan Kota Shanghai.

Disney telah lama mengincar Shanghai untuk mengembangkan kerajaan bisnisnya. "Kami terlibat pembicaraan yang cukup alot dengan Pemerintah Cina mengenai pembangunan taman bermain Disneyland di Shanghai. Setelah beberapa kali pertemuan, rencana pembangunan ini akan segera terealisasi," kata juru bicara The Walt Disney di Shanghai, Cina, Jumat (5/11).

Pembangunan Disneyland Cina akan berlokasi di Distrik Pudong Timur, Shanghai, dan memakan biaya sekitar 25 Miliar Yuan atau sekitar Rp 33 Trilyun.(reuters/SHA)

Windows Phone 7 (WP7) telah diluncurkan 11 Oktober lalu. Meski tercatat cukup mengesankan, beberapa ‘kekurangan’ nampak terlhat di sistem operasi terbaru besutan Microsoft ini.

Nah, demi menambal beberapa kelemahan di WP7 tadi, pihak Microsoft berencana akan mengeluarkan versi update dari sistem operasi ini. Sebagaimana informasi yang didapat PULSAonline via wmpoweruser, dikabarkan bahwa software update untuk WP 7 bakal tersedia pada Januari tahun depan.

Nantinya, selain menutup ‘celah’ yang ada update WP 7 bakal pula membawa beberapa fitur baru, yang salah satunya yaitu fitur copy-paste. Seperti diketahui, fitur copy-paste merupakan satu fitur yang sangat dinantikan pengguna WP7.

Fitur lain yang akan disertakan seiring update WP 7 nanti yakni fitur ‘turn by turn voice navigation’, sebuah fitur navigasi GPS yang bisa dilakukan hanya melalui ucapan (suara). Dan, integrasi media penyimpanan berbasis awan “Microsoft SkyDrive” pun diklaim bakal lebih baik nantinya.

Thypus

Thypus adalah infeksi penyakit akut usus halus, nama lain typus adalah typhoid atau typus abdominalis. Penyebabnya adalah kuman salmonella typhi. Penularan salmonella typhi terjadi melalui mulut dan makanan yang tercemar .Kuman tersebut masuk melalui saluran pencernaan, setelah berkembang biak kemudian menembus dinding usus menuju saluran limfa, masuk ke dalam pembuluh darah dalam waktu 24-72 jam. Kemudian dapat terjadi pembiakan di sistem retikuloendothelial dan menyebar kembali ke pembuluh darah yang kemudian menimbulkan berbagai gejala klinis .Dalam dunia kedokteran thypus dikenal dengan nama TYPHOID FEVER atau Thypus abdominalis, karena berhubungan dengan usus pada perut .

Gejala penyakit thypus sebagai berikut :

1. Panas badan yang semakin hari bertambah tinggi, terutama pada sore dan malam hari. Terjadi selama 7-10 hari, kemudian panasnya menjadi konstan dan kontinyu. Umumnya paginya sudah merasa baikan, namun menjelang malam kondisi mulai menurun lagi.

2. Pada fase awal timbul gejala lemah, sakit kepala, infeksi tenggorokan, rasa tidak enak di perut, sembelit atau terkadang sulit buang air besar, dan diare.

3. Pada keadaan yang berat penderita bertambah sakit dan kesadaran mulai menurun.

Yang perlu diperhatikan pasca terkena Tipes adalah :

1. pola makan yang benar, misalnya harus lunak, ya terapkan makan lunak sampai batas yang telah ditentukan dokter, kemudian makanan yang berminyak, pedas, asam, spicy hindari.

2. Kurangi kegiatan yang terlalu menguras tenaga.

3. Kemudian untuk menjaga stamina bisa diberikan Kapsul Tapak ( sesuai ketentuan dokter) Liman 3 x 2 Kaps/hr, Kaps Daun sendok 3 x 2 Kaps.hr, dan Patikan Kebo 3 x 1 Kaps/hr (untuk membantu mempercepat penyembuhan luka diusus akibat Typus).

Pengobatan pada penderita ini meliputi tirah baring, diet rendah serat - tinggi kalori dan protein, obat-obatan berupa antibiotika (dijelaskan pada paragraf berikutnya), serta pengobatan terhadap komplikasi yang mungkin timbul.

Obat untuk penyakit Types adalah antibiotika golongan Chloramphenikol, Thiamphenikol, Ciprofloxacin dll yg diberikan selama 7 – 10 hari. Lamanya pemberian antibiotika ini harus cukup sesuai resep yg dokter berikan. Jangan dihentikan bila gejala demam atau lainnya sudah reda selama 3-4 hari minum obat. Obat harus diminum sampai habis ( 7 – 10 hari ).

Bila tidak, maka bakteri Tipes yg ada di dalam tubuh pasien belum mati semua dan kelak akan kambuh kembali.

Obat tradisional untuk penyakit thypus atau tipes adalah :

1. Sambiloto merupakan salah satu tanaman yang telahlama digunakan sebagai bahan ramuan obat tradisional. Sambiloto terbukti berkhasiat untuk mencegah maupun mengobati beberapa penyakit, seperti tifus, diabetes, radang telinga, radang tenggorokan, amandel, gatal-gatal, kudis,sinusitis, dan desentri. Selain berkhasiat obat, sambiloto juga bermanfaat sebagai penambah nafsu makan .

2. Bidara upas disebut Merremia mammosa (Lour..) Hall.f., atau Batattamammosa Rumph. termasuk ke dalam famili tumbuhan Convolvulaceae. Nama daerahnya blamar atau widara upas. Kandungan Kimia : Damar, resin, pati, zat pahit. Getah segar mengandung zat oxydase (Anonim, 2005). Dalam pengobatan tradisional, umbi Bidara Upas (M. mammosa (Lour.) Hall.f.) sering digunakan terapi pengobatan kanker. Kandungan zat oksidase pada getah segar Bidara Upas (M. mammosa (Lour.) Hall.f.) juga diduga memiliki peran dalam pengobatan kanker alternatif.

3. Rumput mutiara disebut Hedyotis corymbosa (L.) Lamk. atau Oldenlandia corymbosa L. termasuk ke dalam famili tumbuhan Rubiaceae. Tanaman ini dikenal dengan nama daerah rumput siku-siku, daun mutiara atau katepan .Kandungan kimia : Baihua she-she cao mengandung: Hentriacontane, stigmasterol, ursolic acid, oleanolic acid, Beta-sitosterol, sitisterol-D-glucoside, p-coumaric acid, flavonoid glycosides, dan baihuasheshecaosu (kemungkinan analog coumarin).

4. TemuLawak termasuk familia Zingiberaceae. Tumbuh di daerah dengan ketinggian antara 5 - 750 meter di atas permukaan laut. Dapat ditemui di hutan jati, di tempat yang beralang-alang, atau ditanam di halaman rumah. TemuLawak mengandung : minyak asiri, curcumin, glucosida, phellandrene, turmerol, myrcene, xanthorrihizol, isofuranogermacreene, p-tolyletycarbinol, tepung .

PULAU KOMODO

Sepertinya Indonesia mempunyai satu pulau dimana pulau itu saat ini juga termasuk salah satu finalis tujuh keajaiban dunia .Iya benar ,Pulau Komodo namanya .Komodo adalah hewan purba yang masih bertahan hidup sampai saat ini ,meskipun kurang lebih hanya 3800 ekor, hewan itu tetap dijaga dan dilestarikan oleh pemerintah setempat dan negara Indonesia juga .

Selain itu ,pulau ini juga memiliki beragam pohon .Yang digunakan warga sekitar untuk dibuat obat-obatan ,namanya kayu sepang .Kita sebagai orang indonesia ,harus bangga dengan keberadaan pulau komodo ini ,dan harus menjaga nya supaya tidak hancur dari tangan-tangan orang yang berdosa .
